2001: Inception


Seyfarth Shaw at Work, the firm’s compliance services and training services subsidiary, was incorporated in 2001 as a separate legal entity in order to formalize the firm’s existing capabilities relative to critical ancillary services.

2001-2005: Pioneering Dynamic Interactivity


In its first five years, Seyfarth Shaw at Work focused on harassment and non-discrimination related training in the 50 States. It was one of the first organizations to innovate by moving away from passive delivery and videos and to pioneer fully interactive sessions, consensus-building and achieving meaningful participant buy-in.

2005-2010: Comprehensive Coverage and Global Reach


Starting in 2005, Seyfarth Shaw at Work expanded its offerings to include virtually all compliance and workplace effectiveness areas and serve clients on multiple continents and in at least seven languages.

2010: High Impact Compliance Messaging


Beginning in 2010, Seyfarth Shaw at Work’s services broadened to include creative code design, core value drafting, and comprehensive compliance messaging, as well as organizational support and business management for think tanks and nongovernmental organizations.


2021 to Present: NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT.


The company assumed its current name, “Seyfarth at Work,” consistent with a broader 2021 parent firm re-branding. Beyond its programming, Seyfarth at Work’s leaders now make regular appearances in business and legal media and to testify for legislative bodies on improving workplace culture.

Seyfarth at Work remains perhaps best known for its pioneering role designing some of the largest conciliation agreement compliance/training projects of the last 2+ decades.
