Managing Within a Union Environment
A real-life primer that provides managers with the tools needed to effectively manage within a union environment. Managers learn about their rights and responsibilities when supervising a union-represented workforce, including counseling and disciplining employees, investigations, documentation, the grievance procedure and the role of the union steward. The links between EEO-based rights and collective bargaining requirements are clarified through a series of interactive and realistic exercises.
